Broward Children’s Center’s Home Health Program provides necessary medical services and care in the homes of infants, children, and young adults with special healthcare needs.

 

Our highly trained Pediatric Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses deliver safe and effective care under the direct supervision of a Physician. BCC’s Home Health staff educates members of each client’s household so that families can maintain as much independence as possible throughout the care of their child.

Our Home Health program is a licensed Medicaid provider accepting individuals who receive Medicaid, as well as those with private insurance. BCC’s Home Health program also provides medical services to public schools through a contract with the School Board of Broward County. Additionally, BCC Home Health offers speech, physical, and occupational therapies based on client needs.

Home Health services include:

• Ventilator care

• Skilled nursing

• Medical and social services

• Gastrostomy tube feeding

• Tracheostomy care

• I.V. therapy

• Diabetic management and education

Services are offered to individuals through the Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties.
