2000 – 2002 | Broward Children's Center

2000 – 2002

Broward Children’s Center moved its administrative offices to one location at 1801 E. Atlantic Avenue in Pompano Beach,
in order to increase efficiency in workflows, and allow for client-based programs to grow.

In November 2001, BCC’s newest projects opened, including: the new Respite Home, which provided relief for families that care for children with special needs at home, Kids Klinic medi-van Program, which provided immunizations and health screenings at community preschools and daycare facilities serving culturally diverse and low-income families, and the Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care facility, a comprehensive day program for community children with medical conditions.

A year later, Broward Children’s Center expanded the Kids Klinic medi-van program to include a Kids Klinic office,
better serving the community through medical services including: physicals, immunizations, and sick visits for children with special needs.
