2000 – 2002

2000
Broward Children’s Center moved its administrative offices to one location at 1801 E. Atlantic Avenue in Pompano Beach,
in order to increase efficiency in workflows, and allow for client-based programs to grow.

2001
In November of 2001, BCC’s Coastal Kids Pediatric Respite Home opened, providing relief for families that care for
special needs children at home. Additionally, Kids Klinic, a medi-van program, opened, providing immunizations and
health screenings at community preschools and daycare centers, for ethnically diverse, lower-income families.
Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care, a comprehensive day program, for community children with complex
medical conditions, also opened its doors.

2002
A year later, Broward Children’s Center expanded the Kids Klinic medi-van program to include a Kids Klinic office,
better serving the community through medical services including: physicals, immunizations, and sick visits for children with special needs.
